For beginners and those who want a review. We will learn and practice the basic elements of tai chi and learn some history. We breathe, relax and learn new forms. I’ve been learning from Paul Lam and recently we are currently working on Tai Chi for Arthritis part 1. So come along and we can play together.
2. Tai Ji –Hybrid class Zoom and in person
Wednesday and Friday from 9-10am. ($5 per class or ReNew Active)
We are learning the Combined 42 form in this class. It’s an advanced form but don’t let that scare you. I won’t leave you behind. The combined 42 is soft and flowing and very circular. It is a combination of the major tai chi forms, Yang, Sung, and Chen.
Where we meet, what to bring, costs
Classes meet at the Senior Center on Jilson Square in Willimantic, CT. Bring water and wear flat flexible shoes or go stocking foot. Class costs $5/session or if United Health Care is your health insurance, their program “ReNew Active” will cover your costs. Participants can pay in advance or as they go along. Check, cash or even Paypal, (contact me for email address). If you have trouble paying, lets talk, we can find a price that works for both of us.
